Description

Liljaskolan, Vännäs gymnasium, offers a wide range of upper secondary and adult education programs.

We offer everything from theoretical and practical programs to sports education. We also have introductory programs where students study primary school courses, sometimes combined with vocational courses or other theoretical courses at the upper secondary level. Liljaskolan is characterized by clear pedagogical principles, and there is a strong desire to help and support ALL our students in reaching their goals.

We are currently looking for two upper secondary teachers in mathematics combined with another natural science subject. We are looking for someone who is engaged and can inspire young people. It is an advantage if you have experience in teaching and if you are a special educator in mathematics. We would also like you to have experience teaching vocational programs.

We believe that you are a skilled and confident leader in the classroom, creating a pleasant, clear, and structured environment for the students. You have a good ability to create student participation through varied and creative teaching. We hope you share our view that inclusion is important by placing great trust in students' learning abilities, having high positive expectations for students, and believing that everyone can learn. You are also someone who has a desire to continuously develop your own teaching and a wish to work in a team with motivated colleagues around you.

Responsibilities

Your role as a teacher is to plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching in mathematics and another natural science subject. Regular teacher tasks such as mentorship, teamwork, participation in systematic quality work, etc., are also included. The teaching will mainly be at the upper secondary level, but it may also include some courses at the primary school level. Additionally, you are a driven person who wants to be involved in continuously improving the operations together with colleagues and school management.
